Final Day(1/1/05)Saturday
As its the beginning of a new year, all shops are selling 福待(lucky bag). Its $500yen for $1000yen value stuff. Thus you will be able to notice people camping overnight at certain stores in megamalls like Sunshine City and Tokyo Hands, especially Hello Kitty store and computer devices store. Few from my tour group bought lots of Hello Kitty stuff as they claimed its really cheap there but they spent around $2000yen or more haha!

Fifth Day(31/12/04)Friday
Before flying off to Tokyo we visited the morning market where crabs are everywhere on the floor. We ate teriyaki bento on the 1hour flight but honestly speaking its the best meal I ever had onboard haha!! Once we touchdown at Tokyo it started snowing which is quite incredible as it aint the season to snow. Hence I deduce that the snow is following our tour group. An hour later we arrived at the Toyota Mega Web and Venus Fort. The Venus Fort has the identical ceiling(one that will change its color and 30mins) with those in Las Vegas. We went to the Asakusa Kannon Temple again. As few hundreds of years ago, the abbot of the temple lose the key and the door to the idol is locked but they didnt force open it fearing that it might be empty in there and all their years of praying were praying to whom?? Finally I were able to have my last dinner in Tokyo in a Chinese restaurant. Yea man!!!! As its new year eve, so we decided to countdown at a fully packed street(similar to that of Orchard Road) in Tokyo central...

Fourth Day(30/12/04)Thursday
Early in the morning and we were at the bear ranch feeding them with apples and cookies. Late in the afternoon we head to Hakodate seafood market and gobble down the huge scallops and fresh squid sashimi. Then we went up Mt Hakodate on a gondola and luckily we were able to catch the (One-Million-Dollar-View) of Hakodate city though its -15degree Celcius and strong gushes of wind blowing straight into my face! After which we went to a mall that is quite similar to bugis junction. Then we end our day at 海王馆 spa beach hotel where to my surprise theres a big merlion and 4 miniature surrounding it. We had a tranquilizing herbal hot spring bath to end the day.

We ate sento for lunch then we travel to Norboribetsu city to look for the Jigokudani aka Hell Valley. Its a sulphrous valley(the stint is akind to german gas) and saw boiling geyser around.
